CARACAS.-El secretario general del estado Mérida, Richard Lobo, informó que el desbordamiento de ríos y quebradas por las lluvias en la entidad ha dejado daños en las vialidades y varias familias afectadas.
Las autoridades activaron el plan Operación Murachí para atender los daños generados por las precipitaciones.
Lobo precisó que «el desbordamiento del río Mucujetes», dejó siete viviendas afectadas. «En el sector caño de Arenas el desbordamiento de la quebrada hay aguas blancas afectando la troncal 001», agregó.
Mientras que el río Guayabones dejó al menos 30 hectáreas agrícolas afectadas.
El funcionario destacó que ya en los lugares se encuentran maquinarias trabajando para solventar las situaciones.
